Equipment

  • Frying Pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Ingredients:

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup carrots, finely chopped
  • 1 cup green beans, finely chopped
  • 1 cup cabbage, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 20 pieces lumpia wrappers
  • 2 cups vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, shrimp, carrots, green beans, cabbage, onion, garlic, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Place about 1 to 2 tablespoons of the mixture on a lumpia wrapper. Fold the wrapper over the mixture, fold in the sides, and roll tightly. Seal the edge with a dab of water.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the lumpia in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3 to 5 minutes per side.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes:

For a healthier option, you can bake the lumpia in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, turning once halfway through.
