Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Elbow Macaroni
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 4 tbsp All-purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • 1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions and drain.
  • 2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • 3. Gradually whisk in milk and cook until thickened.
  • 4. Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 5. Combine cheese sauce with cooked macaroni and transfer to a baking dish.
  • 6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden.

Notes:

For a crispy topping, sprinkle breadcrumbs over the mac and cheese before baking.
