Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Red Wine 750ml
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 4 Cloves
  • 1 Orange sliced
  • 1 Lemon sliced

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a saucepan, combine the water, sugar, and cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer.
  • 2. Cut the orange and lemon into slices and add them to the mixture along with the cloves. Continue to simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  • 3. Pour in the wine and heat until steaming but not boiling. Serve hot.

Notes:

Feel free to adjust the spices to your taste. Some people like to add star anise or cardamom for extra flavor.
