Ingredients:

Fresh thyme
Instructions:
1. Preheat your cast iron pan over high heat for about 5 minutes.
2. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Rub both sides with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
3. Place the steaks in the hot pan. Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side.
4. Add crushed garlic and thyme to the pan. Tilt the pan and spoon the melted butter over the steaks.
5. Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer. Remove from the pan once it reaches your desired doneness.
6. Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes:
For best results, use a well-seasoned cast iron pan.
