Black pepper
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Rub the spice mixture all over the pork spare ribs.
Place the ribs on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil.
Cover the ribs with another piece of aluminum foil and bake for 2 hours.
Remove the top layer of foil and brush the ribs with BBQ sauce.
Bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes, or until the ribs are tender and the sauce is caramelized.
Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes:
For extra flavor, marinate the ribs in the spice rub overnight.
