Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup peanuts raw
  • 2 tbsp butter unsalted
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions: 

  • Grease a baking sheet and set aside.
  • In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved.
  • Stir in peanuts. Set candy thermometer in place, and continue cooking. Stir frequently until temperature reaches 300°F (150°C).
  • Remove from heat. Stir in butter, baking soda, and vanilla extract. Pour mixture onto prepared baking sheet. Spread evenly.
  • Let cool, then break into pieces.

Notes:

Store in an airtight container to keep it crunchy.
