Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 large Granny Smith apples peeled and cored
  • 2 cans crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 can Mountain Dew

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Peel and core the apples, then cut each apple into 8 wedges.
  • Wrap each apple wedge in crescent roll dough and place in a baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Pour over the apple dumplings.
  • Pour Mountain Dew around the edges of the baking dish.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.

Notes:

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
