Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Milk whole milk works best
  • 3 Eggs large
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg ground

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until well combined.
  • Gradually add the milk and vanilla extract, whisking continuously.
  • Pour the mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle the nutmeg on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the custard is set and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let it cool before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

For a richer custard, you can use half-and-half instead of milk.
