dark rum

ground cinnamon

vanilla ice cream
Instructions:
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar and stir until dissolved.
Add the bananas to the skillet and cook until they start to soften, about 2-3 minutes.
Sprinkle the cinnamon over the bananas and stir gently to combine.
Carefully add the rum to the skillet. Using a long lighter or match, ignite the rum to flambé. Allow the flames to subside.
Serve the bananas and sauce over scoops of vanilla ice cream.
Notes:
Be very careful when igniting the rum. Keep a fire extinguisher nearby just in case.
