Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, whisk together buttermilk, sugar, melted butter, eggs, flour, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the pie cool before serving.
