Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for about 10 minutes until frothy.
Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Punch down the dough and divide it into 2-4 portions. Roll out each portion to your desired thickness.
Add your favorite toppings and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Notes:
For a crispier crust, bake the pizza on a preheated pizza stone.
