Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup bean sprouts
  • 1/2 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 8 pieces egg roll wrappers
  • 1 cup vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a mixing bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, shrimp, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  • 2. Place a small amount of filling in the center of each egg roll wrapper. Fold the sides and roll tightly.
  • 3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry egg rolls until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • 4. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes:

For a vegetarian option, omit the shrimp and add more vegetables.
