Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • 2. Whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute.
  • 3. Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly until the mixture is smooth and thickened.
  • 4. Add the shredded cheese, salt, and garlic powder. Stir until the cheese is melted and the dip is smooth.

Notes:

For a spicier version, add some chopped jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce.
