Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup beer cold
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions: 

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the cold beer, whisking until smooth.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  • Dip your chosen food into the batter, allowing excess to drip off.
  • Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.

Notes:

For best results, use a light beer and make sure it is very cold.
