Black Pepper
Instructions:
1. In a large pot, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.
2. Add the asparagus pieces and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes until the asparagus is tender.
3. Use a blender to puree the soup until smooth. Return the soup to the pot.
4. Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Heat through but do not boil.
5. Serve hot and enjoy!

This soup is great with a side of crusty bread.
