Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 8 cups leaf lettuce torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 slices bacon chopped
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving drippings in the skillet.
  • 2. Add vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper to the drippings; cook and stir until boiling.
  • 3. Place lettuce in a large bowl. Pour hot dressing over lettuce; toss lightly. Sprinkle with bacon and serve immediately.

Notes:

Best served immediately while the dressing is warm.
