Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Quinoa cooked
  • 1 can Black Beans drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil for frying

Instructions: 

  • In a large mixing bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth.
  • Add the cooked quinoa, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  • Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve the burgers on buns with your favorite toppings.

Notes:

These burgers can be frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven or on the stovetop.
