long-grain white rice

Instructions:
Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
In a blender, combine the rice, 2 cups of water, and the cinnamon stick. Blend until the rice and cinnamon are roughly ground.
Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and add the remaining 2 cups of water. Let it sit at room temperature for at least 4 hours.
Strain the rice mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher. Discard the solids.
Stir in the vanilla extract, sugar, and milk. Chill in the refrigerator until cold.
Serve over ice and enjoy!
Notes:
Adjust the sweetness to your liking by adding more or less sugar.
