Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, and black pepper.
Place salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the maple syrup mixture over them. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Bake salmon in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Notes:
For a more intense flavor, marinate the salmon for up to 2 hours.
