Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Cube Steak about 1/2 inch thick
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Beef Broth

Instructions: 

  • 1. Tenderize the cube steaks with a meat tenderizer.
  • 2. Mix flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
  • 3. Dredge the steaks in the flour mixture, coating both sides.
  • 4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • 5. Fry the steaks in the hot oil until browned, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  • 6. Remove steaks from skillet and set aside.
  • 7. Add beef broth to the skillet, scraping up any browned bits.
  • 8. Return steaks to the skillet, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes.

Notes:

Serve with mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
