Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 8 oz egg noodles, cooked

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • 2. Add the chopped onion, sliced mushrooms, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
  • 3. Stir in the flour and cook for another minute.
  • 4. Gradually add the beef broth, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  • 5. Reduce the heat and stir in the sour cream. Cook until heated through, but do not boil.
  • 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 7. Serve the beef mixture over cooked egg noodles.

Notes:

Feel free to add a splash of Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor.
