Instructions:
1. Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions and bake in a 9x13 inch pan.
2. Allow the cake to cool completely.
3. Using a fork, poke holes all over the cake.
4. In a bowl, mix the Jell-O with boiling water until dissolved, then add cold water.
5. Pour the Jell-O mixture over the cake, making sure it goes into the holes.
6. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours.
7. Spread whipped topping over the cake before serving.
Notes:
Feel free to use any flavor of Jell-O you like. It's fun to mix and match!
