Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup water

Instructions: 

  • Combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and water in a saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Strain the mixture to remove the solids, pressing down to extract as much liquid as possible.
  • Let the syrup cool, then transfer to a jar and refrigerate.

Notes:

Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
