Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes peeled and grated
  • 1 small onion grated
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil for frying

Instructions: 

  • 1. Grate the potatoes and onion into a large bowl.
  • 2. Add eggs, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • 3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • 4. Drop spoonfuls of the potato mixture into the pan, flattening them with a spatula.
  • 5. Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • 6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes:

Serve with applesauce or sour cream for a traditional touch.
