Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.
  • 2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth.
  • 3. Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until thickened. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • 4. Add the milk mixture to the chicken mixture and mix well.
  • 5. Shape the mixture into small patties or balls.
  • 6. Dip each patty in the beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  • 7. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the croquettes until golden brown on all sides.
  • 8. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes:

These croquettes can be served with a dipping sauce of your choice.
