Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 head Broccoli chopped
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened.
  • 2. Add the chopped broccoli and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, until the broccoli is tender.
  • 3. Use a blender to puree the soup until smooth. Return the soup to the pot.
  • 4. Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Heat through, but do not boil.
  • 5. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes:

This soup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
