Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 3 lb Chuck Roast
  • 1 unit Onion sliced
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 4 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 lb Carrots cut into chunks
  • 1 lb Potatoes cut into chunks
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 tsp Thyme dried
  • 1 tsp Rosemary dried
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • 1. Season the chuck roast with salt and black pepper.
  • 2. Place the roast in the slow cooker.
  • 3. Add the sliced onion, minced garlic, beef broth, carrots, potatoes, tomato paste, thyme, and rosemary.
  • 4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
  • 5. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes:

For a thicker gravy, you can remove some of the liquid and simmer it on the stove with a bit of cornstarch.
