Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups blackberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 package pie crusts (2 crusts)

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, salt, and lemon juice.
  • Place one pie crust in a pie dish. Pour in the blackberry mixture.
  • Cover with the second crust, seal edges, and cut slits on top.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
  • Let cool before serving.

Notes:

Best served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
