Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, and melted butter. Mix well.
Add beaten eggs, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Mix until smooth.
Gradually add milk, mixing until well combined.
Pour mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
Bake in preheated oven for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow pie to cool before serving.
Notes:
For a richer flavor, you can add a pinch of ground cloves or allspice.
