Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups mashed sweet potatoes cooked and mashed
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 unbaked pie crust

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, and melted butter. Mix well.
  • Add beaten eggs, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Mix until smooth.
  • Gradually add milk, mixing until well combined.
  • Pour mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow pie to cool before serving.

Notes:

For a richer flavor, you can add a pinch of ground cloves or allspice.
