Instructions:
Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it reaches 190°F (88°C).
Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice.
Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
Strain the mixture through a cheesecloth to remove any excess liquid.
Store the mascarpone cheese in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Notes:
