Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine hash browns, cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, onion, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Pour melted butter evenly over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes:
This casserole can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight. Just bake it when you're ready to serve.
