Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers
  • 8 cups water
  • 0.5 cup sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 cinnamon stick optional
  • 1-2 slices ginger optional

Instructions: 

  • Rinse the dried hibiscus flowers under cold water.
  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil.
  • Add the hibiscus flowers, cinnamon stick, and ginger slices to the boiling water.
  • Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let it cool.
  • Strain the mixture into a pitcher.
  • Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
  • Chill in the refrigerator before serving.

Notes:

Adjust the sweetness to your liking. You can also add a splash of lime juice for extra flavor.
