Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook the ziti pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3. In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
4. Add the marinara sauce to the beef and simmer for 10 minutes.
5. In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
6. In a baking dish, layer half of the cooked ziti, followed by half of the meat sauce, and then the ricotta mixture. Repeat the layers.
7. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes:
Feel free to add some fresh basil or parsley on top for garnish.
