Ingredients:  

Cake Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter unsweetened
  • 1 cup applesauce unsweetened
  • 1 egg

Frosting Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter unsweetened

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and baking soda.
  • Add the peanut butter, applesauce, and egg. Mix until well combined.
  • Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool completely before frosting.
  • For the frosting, mix the Greek yogurt and peanut butter until smooth. Spread over the cooled cake.

Notes:

Make sure to use unsweetened peanut butter and applesauce to keep it safe for your dog.
