Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Milk
  • 4 Egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a saucepan, heat the milk until it is just about to boil.
  • 2. In a bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar until pale and creamy.
  • 3. Slowly pour the hot milk into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
  • 4. Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
  • 5. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  • 6. Pour the custard into serving dishes and let it cool before serving.

Notes:

Make sure to stir constantly to avoid lumps.
