Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 cups Apples, peeled and chopped

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
  • Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Fold in the chopped apples.
  • Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes:

This apple bread is best served warm with a pat of butter.
