Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrots.
In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, white vinegar, vegetable oil, salt, and celery seed until well combined.
Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots. Toss to coat evenly.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Notes:
Best served chilled. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
