whiskey
preferably rye or bourbon

sugar cube
sugar

dashes
Angostura bitters
1
twist
orange peel
for garnish

splash
water
Instructions:
1. Place the sugar cube in an Old-Fashioned glass.
2. Add the bitters and a splash of water.
3. Muddle until the sugar cube is dissolved.
4. Fill the glass with a large ice cube.
5. Pour the whiskey over the ice and stir gently.
6. Garnish with the orange peel twist.
Notes:
For a sweeter drink, add a bit more sugar. You can also use simple syrup instead of a sugar cube.
