Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, milk, chopped onion, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Place the mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
Spread the ketchup evenly on top of the loaf.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes:
For a twist, you can add some grated cheese to the meat mixture or use BBQ sauce instead of ketchup for the topping.
