vegetable oil

all-purpose flour

sugar
for coating

ground cinnamon
for coating
Instructions:
In a saucepan, combine water, 2 tbsp sugar, salt, and 2 tbsp vegetable oil. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
Stir in flour until mixture forms a ball.
Heat oil for frying in a deep frying pan to 375°F (190°C).
Pipe strips of dough into hot oil using a piping bag with a star tip. Fry until golden; drain on paper towels.
Mix 1 cup sugar and ground cinnamon. Roll churros in the sugar mixture.
Notes:
Best served warm with a cup of hot chocolate or coffee.
