Water
Instructions:
1. In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over water and let stand for 5 minutes.
2. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and sugar over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Do not boil.
3. Remove from heat and stir in the gelatin mixture and vanilla extract until completely dissolved.
4. Pour the mixture into ramekins and let cool to room temperature.
5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
6. Serve chilled, optionally with fresh berries or a fruit sauce.
Notes:
For a twist, you can infuse the cream with other flavors like coffee or citrus zest.
