Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp yeast
  • 1.5 cups warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  • 2. Add the warm water and olive oil. Mix until the dough forms.
  • 3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
  • 4. Place the dough in a greased loaf pan. Cover and let it rise for about 30 minutes.
  • 5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 30 minutes or until the bread is golden brown.
  • 6. Remove from the oven and let it cool before slicing.

Notes:

For a softer crust, brush the top of the bread with melted butter after baking.
