Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups masa harina
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water

Instructions: 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine masa harina and salt.
  • Gradually add warm water, mixing until a dough forms.
  • Divide dough into 8 equal pieces and roll into balls.
  • Use a tortilla press to flatten each ball between sheets of plastic wrap.
  • Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Cook each tortilla for about 1 minute on each side.

Notes:

Keep tortillas warm in a towel until ready to serve.
