Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • as needed Oil for frying

Instructions: 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add warm water, mixing until a dough forms.
  • Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and shape each into a ball.
  • Flatten each ball into a disk about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Fry each disk until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve warm.

Notes:

Serve with honey, powdered sugar, or use as a base for Navajo tacos.
