Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped
  • 1 lb Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tbsp Fresh dill, chopped

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and cook until soft.
  • 2. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their juices and become tender.
  • 3. Stir in the flour and paprika, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • 4. Gradually add the chicken broth, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • 5. Add the milk, salt, and pepper. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  • 6. Remove from heat and stir in the sour cream and fresh dill. Serve hot.

Notes:

This soup is perfect for a cozy night in. Serve with crusty bread for a complete meal.
