Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Beef chuck roast
  • 4 cups Beef broth
  • 1 packet Onion soup mix
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 4 French rolls
  • 8 slices Provolone cheese

Instructions: 

  • 1. Place beef chuck roast in a slow cooker.
  • 2. Add beef broth, onion soup mix, and garlic powder.
  • 3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until beef is tender.
  • 4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • 5. Shred the beef and place on French rolls. Top with provolone cheese.
  • 6. Bake in the preheated oven until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
  • 7. Serve with the au jus from the slow cooker for dipping.

Notes:

For extra flavor, you can add a splash of Worcestershire sauce to the au jus.
