Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, and bread crumbs. Season with salt and pepper. Form into patties.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook until softened.
  • Sprinkle flour over onions and stir well. Gradually add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring constantly until gravy thickens.
  • Return patties to the skillet, spoon gravy over them, and simmer for a few minutes. Serve hot.

Notes:

Serve with mashed potatoes or rice for a complete meal.
