heavy cream

whole milk

sugar

cornstarch

egg yolks

vanilla extract

puff pastry

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, milk, sugar, and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until the mixture thickens.
Remove from heat and whisk in egg yolks and vanilla extract. Let it cool slightly.
Roll out the puff pastry and cut into circles to fit your muffin tin. Press the pastry into the tin.
Fill the pastry with the custard mixture.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are browned and the pastry is crispy.
Let the tarts cool before serving.

Best enjoyed fresh out of the oven!
