Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups Stale Bread, cubed
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 3 Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp Nutmeg
  • 0.5 cup Raisins

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Add the cubed bread and raisins to the mixture, ensuring all pieces are well-coated.
  • Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to allow the bread to soak up the liquid.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

For a richer flavor, you can use half-and-half instead of milk.
