Ingredients:  

Buttercream Icing Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cups Powdered sugar sifted
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 2-4 tablespoons Heavy cream

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a large bowl, beat the butter until creamy.
  • 2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • 3. Add the vanilla extract and 2 tablespoons of heavy cream. Beat on high for 3 minutes.
  • 4. If the frosting is too thick, add more heavy cream, one tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.

Notes:

Make sure the butter is at room temperature for best results.
